6181B, 6182B, 6183B, 6184B and 6185B
cables to BS7211 are designed for fixed
wiring, lighting and low voltage power
applications.
They are suitable for domestic,
commercial and industrial building
installations.
Typical applications include lighting
circuits, power circuits, distribution
boards, control panels, conduit systems
and trunking systems.
These cables are commonly used in public
buildings, schools, hospitals, airports,
offices, data centres and transport
facilities where low smoke zero halogen
performance is required.
The thermosetting insulation provides
reliable electrical performance and
thermal stability.
The LSOH / LSZH sheath helps reduce smoke
emission and corrosive gas release
in the event of fire.
6181B is commonly used for single core
fixed wiring applications.
6182B, 6183B, 6184B and 6185B are used
where two core, three core, four core
or five core cable construction is required.
These cables should be installed in
conduit, trunking, cable tray or other
protected wiring systems where mechanical
protection is required.
The cable should be selected according to
voltage rating, number of cores,
conductor size, sheath colour,
installation method and project specification.

FAQ
What are 6181B, 6182B, 6183B, 6184B and 6185B cables used for?
They are used for fixed wiring,
lighting and low voltage power circuits
in buildings.
They are suitable for domestic,
commercial and industrial installations.
What standard do these cables follow?
These cables are designed according
to BS7211 requirements.
Are these cables LSZH?
Yes. These cables use an LSOH / LSZH
outer sheath to help reduce smoke emission
and corrosive gas release in the event of fire.
Are these cables armoured?
No. These are unarmoured fixed wiring
cables.
Where mechanical protection is required,
they should be installed in conduit,
trunking, cable tray or other protected
wiring systems.
What is the difference between 6181B and 6185B?
The main difference is the number of cores.
6181B is normally a single core cable,
while 6185B is normally a five core cable.
Where are these cables commonly installed?
They are commonly installed in buildings,
public facilities, schools, hospitals,
airports, offices, data centres and
transport systems.
What information is required for quotation?
Please confirm cable type, voltage rating,
number of cores, conductor size, cable length,
sheath colour, installation method and
required standard.
Destination port or delivery address
is also required.
Can BURYCABLE supply 6181B to 6185B cable?
Yes. BURYCABLE can supply 6181B,
6182B, 6183B, 6184B and 6185B LSZH
cables according to project voltage,
core number, conductor size, length,
sheath colour and packing requirements.
